The Photobook Award 2025 will be granted to a high-quality fine art photographic book published in 2025. The winner will be granted an award worth 2,000 €, and finalists will receive 500 €. 

The authors must be Finnish citizens or permanent residents of Finland. If the book has several authors, at least half of them must be Finnish citizens or residents. 

The publisher and/or printing house can be foreign and the book does not need to be in Finnish language. The book is required to have an ISBN number and the edition needs to be at least 50 copies. 

To participate, complete the online form between 7 January and 1 February 2026 by 6 PM, and submit two copies of the book along with a printed copy of the application form to the Finnish Museum of Photography by Sunday 1 February 2026 at 6 PM. The books can be sent by mail to The Finnish Museum of Photography, Tallberginkatu 1 G, 00180 Helsinki, or delivered directly to the museum’s ticket office at Kaapeliaukio 3, Helsinki. The books need to be appropriately packed and the package must include a printed copy of the submitted application form. The books will not be returned to the participants. 

The finalists and the winner will be announced in March-April 2026.
